Tsitsipas eases past Schwartzman at Cincinnati Masters

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 4 seed, won against Argentinian Diego Schwartzman, the No 13 seed, 6-3, 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters at the Linder Tennis Family Center on Thursday evening.

Tsitsipas, ranked No 7, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Sebastian Korda and John Isner next.

The Greek defeated Serb Filip Krajinovic (6-3, 6-4) ahead of his victory.

In the previous rounds of the Cincy Open, Schwartzman, ranked No 16, beat Slovak Alex Molcan (5-7, 6-4, 6-2) and Russian Aslan Karatsev (7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-2).
