Tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou believes that world No 1 Novak Djokovic could end up with 25 to 30 Grand Slam singles titles by the time he is done with his career.

The French coach says, on his social accounts, that Djokovic is in great physical shape which should let him compete for another three to four years, and based on the Serb’s average of winning two Slams for each of the last four years, Djokovic could end up with 25 to 30 Grand Slams.

“Until the Australian Open, Novak was by far in pole position,” Mouratoglou says. “He’s by far the youngest of the (big) three, he won an average of two Grand Slams a year in the past four seasons.

“He can easily play three to four more years as he’s in great physical condition. That could take him to 25 or 30 Grand Slams.”

The coach of 23-time Grand Slam singles champion Serena Williams was analysing the G.O.A.T. race in men’s tennis between Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in a video he posted on social media.

More pressure for Nadal ?

In the video, Mouratoglou said that Federer, who has not played since Wimbledon last July and whose last Grand Slam title came at the 2018 Australian Open, will likely end his career with 20 Grand Slams.

Mouratoglou added that Nadal, who leads the current race between the three with 21 Grand Slam singles titles, could exert more pressure on Djokovic by winning the French Open, which the Spaniard has won an incredible 13 times already.

None of the Big 3 are present in Miami this fortnight for the ATP Masters Series event as Daniil Medvedev attempts to reclaim the No 1spot from Djokovic.
