It’s official – Ultimate Tennis Showdown is back for its third edition.

In association with the European Open in Antwerp, UTS3 will take place between October 16 and 18, before the main draw of the ATP 250 tournament there.

Six professional players will take part on all three days in a format and an atmosphere like never before.

‘Breath of fresh air’

This is the first collaboration of UTS and Tennium, the European Open’s organisers.

It offers an exciting and unique companion event – and the model as a whole is intended to put more playing opportunities and more prize money on the table for the stars of the ATP and WTA tours in a fun and exciting environment.

“The Ultimate Tennis Showdown is a breath of fresh air in today’s climate and not only in the tennis industry. Its immersive and creative format appeals to players, fans and the media, helping us reach different audiences. We are delighted with such a collaboration and look forward to implementing this initiative together,” said Kristoff Pulinckx, Director of Tennium Partnerships.

“I always imagined that UTS would work alongside existing tournaments on the professional circuit,” added Patrick Mouratoglou, co-creator and president of UTS. “I am convinced that Antwerp is just the first in a long series of collaborations.”

Fans will see the return of iconic UTS concepts such as live interviews between timed quarters, decisive points, sudden deaths, a relaxed code of conduct and more – with the personalities of players and coaches at the centre of the event.

UTS3 will be composed of two groups of three players, with the winner of each group facing each other in a final on Sunday. All matches will be played in the night session, after the day’s qualifying matches of the day.

  • Friday October 16 (6pm – 11pm): three group matches
  • Saturday October 17 (6pm – 11pm): three group matches
  • Sunday October 18 (9:30pm): final

To watch the matches via live stream, access replays and discover exclusive talk shows, you just need to subscribe for free to the UTS Live platform: https://watch.utslive.tv.
