Great Britain won’t be heading to Malaga for the Davis Cup Finals in November after losing their second tie of the week, this time to the Netherlands.
Joe Salisbury and Andy Murray paired up for the decisive doubles match in Glasgow against Wesley Koolhof and Matwe Middelkoop, but lost out 7-6 (0), 6-7 (6), 6-3.
Earlier in the day, Dan Evans had got the British team off to the best of starts with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Tallon Griekspoor.
But Botic van de Zandschulp levelled up the tie with a 6-4, 6-2 dismissal of Cameron Norrie.
