ARTICLE 1: PURPOSE

The company Tennis Majors, which publishes the website tennismajors.com, the registered office of which is located at 37, rue de la Pérouse, 75116 Paris, is organising a contest.

The contest is free to enter, with no purchase necessary, and shall take the form of a prize draw on the website www.tennismajors.com.

ARTICLE 2: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The contest is open to any physical person. The following persons shall not be permitted to participate:

  • TENNIS MAJORSstaff involved in the contest, as well as their family members (direct ascendants, descendants, and extended family) and spouse, the officer of the court with whom these rules have been filed, and the officer’s staff members.

The contest, entitled “TENNIS MANAGER : TENNIS MAJORS ”,

shall take place from Thursday May 19th at 10:00 a.m. CET to Tuesday May 31st 2020 at midnight excluded (according only to the connection date and time in France). In order that their entry is taken into consideration, participants shall fill out or check the following items in the entry form: title, surname, first name, e-mail address, town, country, Tennis Majors and partners news sign-up.

The Organisers reserve the right to make any necessary verifications as regards the identity and address of participants. Any indication of a false identity or address shall result in the participant’s entry being discounted.

ARTICLE 3: DRAW PROCESS

In order to determine a winner, a draw including all of the correct entries received shall be held. In addition to the winning entry, back-up entries shall also be drawn from all entries received until the prize is definitively allocated to a winner. 

The draw shall take place on Wednesday June 2022 and shall be carried out by Cédric Rouquette, Tennis Majors managing director.

ARTICLE 4: PRIZE

The following prize shall be offered via the draw:

1 (one) free access to the game Tennis Manager, version 2022, our courtesy of Rebound CG.

ARTICLE 5: PRIZE ALLOCATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

5.1 The allocated prize cannot be returned or exchanged for its monetary value or for any other prize. It shall not give rise to any dispute or challenge whatsoever. 

In the event that the winner is unable to receive, fully or partly, the allocated prize determined under the terms and conditions that were made clear to him/her, for any reason whatsoever, this shall result in him/her losing the prize without any possibility of a refund or compensation.

The prize is allocated to the named winner determined by the draw, described in Article 3 above. At the request of the winner, and with the agreement of the partner, it may exceptionally be allocated to another person named by the winner.

In the event that the name of the winner does not correspond with that which appears on the entry form, the Organisers reserve the right to invalidate the winner’s entry. The prize shall be delivered to the winner.

The winner shall only be able to claim the prize if he/she has communicated his/her address. To receive the prize, the winner shall be required to provide the Organisers, should they so request, with any relevant supporting documents confirming his/her identity and address.

The winner shall receive information related to his/her prize by e-mail at the address provided when entering the contest, within a maximum period of one week from the date of the end of the contest. The Organisers cannot be held responsible in the event that the e-mail is not received due to reasons beyond their control, especially where a wrong address has been provided. 

5.2 The companyTENNIS MAJORS shall take all necessary measures to enforce the rules, but cannot be held responsible if the contest is altered for any reason whatsoever. Finally, the Organisers reserve the right to replace the prize with items of equal or greater value in the event of said prize being unavailable, and no claim may be brought against them in this regard.

ARTICLE 6: FREE PARTICIPATION

In accordance with the French law of 6 January 1978, entrants have the right to correct and erase their personal information by writing to the following address:

ARTICLE 7: PERSONAL INFORMATION 

The winner kindly authorises the use of his/her first name and surname, as well as the publication of his/her photograph for any information or promotional purposes related to this contest and/or the results of said contest on the website www.tennismajors.com, and on relevant social networks.

Personal information collected within the framework of this contest shall be processed by the Organisers and their partners, in accordance with the French Data Processing and Civil Liberties Law of 6 January 1978 and with the GDRP. Processing this information enables the Organisers to manage participants’ entries, and specifically to send, to the e-mail addresses provided, e-mails confirming their entries, or, if necessary, informing them that they have won the prize. This information shall be used for marketing purposes for all participants having opted in on the contest entry page. In accordance with the French Data Processing and Civil Liberties Law of 6 January 1978 and with the GDRP, all participants have the right to access, change, correct and erase their personal information by writing to the address provided in Article 10 above. 

Participation in this contest requires prior acceptance of Tennis Majors’ Privacy Policy, requested during the entry process. 

ARTICLE 8: CLAIMS PROCESS

Any demand or claim related to the running of the contest and the allocation of prizes should be sent to the company TENNIS MAJORS by registered letter with proof of delivery, within one month of the date of the draw, described in Article 3 above, to the following address:

ARTICLE 9: LIABILITY

The Organisers and contractors shall accept no liability should the website be inaccessible throughout the contest, or in the event that the information provided by participants is destroyed for a reason attributable to them or not.

Consequently, the company TENNIS MAJORS shall not be held liable for any of the following (this list is not exhaustive): 

  • All information provided on the services visited,
  • A possible interruption to the mail delivery service,
  • A failure of the reception equipment or telephone lines,
  • A loss of data,
  • Any technical failure preventing or limiting the possibility of participating in the contest.

Where necessary, the contest may be altered due to elements beyond the control of the company TENNIS MAJORS that make the smooth running of the contest impossible.

Finally, the Organisers reserve the right to replace the prize with items of equal or greater value in the event of said prize being unavailable, and no claim may be brought against them in this regard.

ARTICLE 10: ACCEPTANCE OF RULES

By participating in the contest, entrants are deemed to have accepted these rules.

ARTICLE 11: LEGAL ACTION AND ATTRIBUTION OF COMPETENCE

Any dispute arising from this contest shall be brought before the competent court.
