Roland-Garros: Korda sets up second round clash with Gasquet

American Sebastian Korda is through to the second round of Roland-Garros with a straight-sets win over Australian John Millman in Paris on Tuesday.

Sebastian Korda, seeded No 27, needed two hours and 38 minutes to score a 6-1, 7-5, 7-6 [6] over Millman.

The American, who reached the fourth round of the 2020 French Open in his first Grand Slam main draw appearance. will next meet French veteran Richard Gasquet in the second round.

• Holger Rune beat Denis Shapovalov (14): 6-3, 6-1, 7-6 [4]
• Emil Ruusuvuori beat Ugo Humbert: 6-2, 2-6, 6-7 [4], 6-4, 6-2
• Daniil Medvedev (2) beat Facundo Bagnis: 6-2, 6-2, 6-2
