Djokovic wins first match back since US Open disqualification


World no.1 Novak Djokovic has won his first tennis match since being disqualified from the US Open. Novak Djokovic made a positive return to the red clay in Rome on Wednesday at the Foro Italico. The four-time champion improved to 51-9 lifetime at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Italy’s Salvatore Caruso.
"It was a very good test for me. I'm very pleased with the way I handled myself in important moments,” said Djokovic. “I was in control of the match. Served well when I needed to come up with a big serve and moved well.
