Rafa reflects on winning attitude after record-equalling triumph

Rafael Nadal says his strength of character drove him to a record-equalling 20th Grand Slam title. King of Clay Rafael Nadal takes time out from posing with the Coupe des Mousquetaires on Monday in Paris to reflect on what it took to win a 13th Roland-Garros title.
"I don't know if it's the best I've ever played, but I played one of the best finals here for almost two hours," he said. "I don't say it's one of the tournaments where I am more happy because the situation is very sad worldwide."
Nadal adds that his effort at this year's tournament makes him very proud because of the obstacles he faced.
"It is one of the tournaments where I am more proud because of the attitude I had everyday, knowing that the cold is not ideal situation for my body, and the playing conditions, too - as everybody knows I like a little bit more faster conditions."
Nadal says that he is proudest of his attitude: "My attitude is the thing that I'm going to remember the most. I'm very, very proud of that."
