Thiem to face Berrettini, Kvitova against Svitolina in Berlin finals


Dominic Thiem battled past Jannik Sinner in two tight sets to set up a final with Matteo Berrettini at the Bett1 Aces event in Berlin. Matteo Berrettini maintained his fine form as the ATP Tour restart approaches by advancing to the final of the Bett1 Aces exhibition in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday. Berrettini, the champion of the inaugural Ultimate Tennis Showdown last weekend, scored a 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 semifinal victory over Roberto Bautista Agut. Next up for the 24-year-old Italian is Dominic Thiem, a 6-3, 7-6(5) winner over Jannik Sinner. Matteo Berrettini, UTS 2020 On the women's side, Petra Kvitova once again showed why grass is her favorite surface. The two-time Wimbledon champion was dominant throughout a 6-3, 6-2 defeat of Kiki Bertens. That earned Kvitova a spot in Wednesday's final against Elina Svitolina, who knocked off Anastasija Sevastova 7-6(2), 6-3.
