Fruhvirtova wins her first match on WTA Tour – aged 14
The teenager is taking her first steps on the senior circuit and was in impressive form

Czech prodigy Brenda Fruhvirtova has won her first match on the WTA circuit at the age of 14 years and eight months.
She beat 19-year-old Jeong Moon at the WTA 125K in Seoul in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.
Fruhvirtova was the youngest player to compete in the Roland-Garros girls’ tournament when she was given a wildcard for the 2020 edition.
She is also a former champion of the prestigious Petits As competition, winning it in 2020, one year after her older sister Linda.
