Katrina Scott reached the last 16 of the San Luis Potosi Open by winning against Whitney Osuigwe 6-0, 6-3 on Tuesday.

Scott, ranked No 162, will face the winner of the match between Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 8 seed, and Andrea Gamiz next.
