No 6 seed Andy Murray moved into the second round of the Hall of Fame Open by winning against American Sam Querrey 6-2, 6-0 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Newport on Tuesday evening.
It was a dominant performance from the world No 1 as he won 20 of 23 second-serve return points against Querrey and converted all six break points he saw in the match.
Murray, ranked No 52, will face Australian wildcard Max Purcell next.
