Belgian Maryna Zanevska, the No 7 seed, advanced to the last four of the Hamburg Open by winning against Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich, the No 4 seed, 6-4, 7-5 at Am Rothenbaum in Hambourg on Thursday.
Zanevska, ranked No 72, will face the winner of the match between American Bernarda Pera and Czech Katerina Siniakova next.
Ahead of her victory, the Belgian beat Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) and Romanian qualifier Alexandra Ignatik (6-4, 6-1).
Sasnovich, ranked No 35, defeated German wildcard Nastasja Schunk (6-1, 6-4) and Serb Aleksandra Krunic (6-3, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
