Japan Open: Majchrzak advances to second round, plays Kyrgios next

Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak reached the second round of the Japan Open by beating Japanese qualifier Sho Shimabukuro 7-6 (2), 6-2 at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo on Tuesday.

Majchrzak, ranked No 121, will face Australian Nick Kyrgios, the No 5 seed, next.
