Finn Emil Ruusuvuori reached the second round of the Astana Open by defeating Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler 6-0, 6-2 at the Daulet National Tennis Center in Nur-Sultan on Wednesday night.
Ruusuvuori, ranked No 53, will face Russian Daniil Medvedev, the second seed, next.
Marc-Andrea Huesler was probably too exhausted after his successful week in Sofia to even fight as he wanted to.
