Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 4 seed, moved into the last eight of the Adelaide International 2 by defeating Dutch lucky loser Robin Haase 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at Memorial Drive Tennis Centre on Wednesday.
Bautista Agut, ranked No 26, will play Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Adelaide 2 tournament, Haase, ranked No 257, edged out Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (3-6, 7-6 (8), 7-6 (3)).
