Delray Beach Open: Mannarino makes quarter-finals
Adrian Mannarino won against J.J. Wolf 7-5, 6-2 on Thursday night and will face the winner of the match between American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, and Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez in the next round
Frenchman Adrian Mannarino won against American J.J. Wolf, the No 9 seed, 7-5, 6-2 to reach the last eight of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Thursday night.
Mannarino, ranked No 59, will face the winner of the match between American Taylor Fritz, the top seed, and Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez next.
In the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament, the 34-year-old Frenchman edged out German Daniel Altmaier (4-6, 6-2, 6-4).
Wolf, ranked No 39, defeated Belarusian Ilya Ivashka (7-5, 6-3) in the first round of the Delray Beach tournament.
