Panna Udvardy defeated Jule Niemeier 7-6 (1), 7-6 (5) on Tuesday night and will play the winner of the match between Pole Magda Linette, the top seed, and Colombian Camila Osorio in the next round
Hungarian Panna Udvardy reached the second round of the Mérida Open by winning against German Jule Niemeier 7-6 (1), 7-6 (5) at the Yucatan Country Club on Tuesday night.
Udvardy, ranked No 91, will face the winner of the match between Pole Magda Linette, the top seed, and Colombian Camila Osorio next.
