Chile Open: Baez moves into the semi-finals, Etcheverry next
Sebastian Baez beat Laslo Djere 7-6 (4), 6-4 on Friday and will play Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry in the next round

Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last four of the Chile Open by defeating Serb Laslo Djere, the No 6 seed, 7-6 (4), 6-4 at the Club Universidad Católica de San Carlos de Apoquindo in Santiago on Friday.
Baez, ranked No 35, will play Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
The 22-year-old Argentinian won against Chilean wildcard Cristian Garin (6-4, 6-3) in the previous rounds of the Santiago Open.
Djere, ranked No 55, beat Portuguese João Sousa (6-3, 6-2) and Italian qualifier Riccardo Bonadio (7-5, 7-5).
