Miami Masters: McDonald shocks Berrettini, books spot in third round
Mackenzie McDonald beat Matteo Berrettini 7-6 (8), 7-6 (5) on Saturday and will play the winner of the match between Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 15 seed, and Frenchman Quentin Halys in the next round

American Mackenzie McDonald beat Italian Matteo Berrettini, the No 19 seed, 7-6 (8), 7-6 (5) to reach the third round of the Miami Masters at the Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday.
McDonald, ranked No 55, will face the winner of the match between Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 15 seed, and Frenchman Quentin Halys next.
Ahead of his victory, the American won against Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (6-4, 6-2).
