Saint-Malo Open: Ponchet moves into quarter-finals
Jessika Ponchet found a way against Diane Parry (6-3, 6-4) on Thursday afternoon and will now face American wildcard Sloane Stephens.

Jessika Ponchet moved into the last eight of the Saint-Malo Open by beating Diane Parry 6-3, 6-4 at the Parc des sports de Marville on Thursday.
Ponchet, ranked No 124, will face American wildcard Sloane Stephens next.
Jessika Ponchet won against Spaniard Rosa Vicens Mas (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Saint-Malo tournament.
In the 32 of the Saint-Malo tournament, Parry, ranked No 106, benefited from the abandonment of Czech Tereza Martincova, the No 6 seed (6-4, 3-0).
