Second seed Cameron Norrie advanced to the quarter-finals of the Lyon Open by defeating Belgian David Goffin 6-3, 6-4 at Parc de la Tête d’or on Wednesday afternoon.
Norrie, ranked No 14, will play No 6 seed Sebastian Baez next.
Goffin, ranked No 113, won against Spanish qualifier Alvaro Lopez San Martin (6-1, 6-3) in the previous round of the Lyon tournament.
