German Tamara Korpatsch defeated American Caroline Dolehide 6-1, 6-3 to reach the last 8 of the Valencia Open at the Valencia Tennis Club on Wednesday evening.
Korpatsch, ranked No 124, will play the winner of the match between Dane Clara Tauson and Spanish wildcard Jessica Bouzas Maneiro next.
In the previous round of the BBVA Open, the German won against Swiss Ylena In-Albon (6-1, 6-2).
Dolehide, ranked No 99, beat French qualifier Elsa Jacquemot (6-2, 6-2) in the previous round of the BBVA Open.
