Chilean Nicolas Jarry defeated Frenchman Corentin Moutet 6-3, 7-5 to move into the second round of Halle at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion on Monday.
Jarry, ranked No 28, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Gregoire Barrere and Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the second seed, next.
