Wildcard Liam Broady reached the second round of the Eastbourne Open by beating lucky loser Jan Choinski 6-3, 6-4 at the Devonshire Park LAwn Tennis Club on Tuesday.
Broady, ranked No 147, will face Swede Mikael Ymer next.
