Wimbledon: Halys sets up third round clash Sinner

Frenchman Quentin Halys beat Australian Aleksandar Vukic 6-3, 6-1, 6-4 to reach the third round of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday.

Halys, ranked No 79, will face Italian Jannik Sinner, the No 8 seed, next.

The Frenchman edged out No 27 seed Daniel Evans (6-2, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-4) in the previous round of The Championships.

In the first round of The Championships, Vukic, ranked No 87, edged out German Daniel Altmaier (6-3, 7-6 (1), 3-6, 7-5).
