American Louisa Chirico won against Norwegian Malene Helgo 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the last 16 of the Nordea Open at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Monday afternoon.
Chirico, ranked No 251, will play the winner of the match between Swede Rebecca Peterson, the No 4 seed, and Su Jeong Jang next.
