Generali Open: Baez advances to quarter-finals, beats Baena in straight sets
Sebastian Baez defeated Roberto Carballes Baena 6-1, 6-2 on Wednesday and will play the winner of the match between Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 4 seed, and Slovak Alex Molcan in the next round

Argentinian Sebastian Baez defeated Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, the No 6 seed, 6-1, 6-2 to move into the last eight of the Generali Open at Kitzbühel Tennis Club in Kitzbuhel on Wednesday.
Baez, ranked No 72, will play the winner of the match between Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 4 seed, and Slovak Alex Molcan next.
Ahead of his victory, the 22-year-old Argentinian won against Serb qualifier Hamad Medjedovic (6-4, 6-2).
Carballes Baena, ranked No 64, beat Argentinian Guido Pella (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round of the Kitzbuhel tournament.
