No 4 seed Linda Noskova moved into the semi-finals of the Prague Open by defeating Slovak Anna Karolina Schmiedlova 6-0, 6-2 at TK Sparta Praha on Friday evening.
Noskova, ranked No 71, will play German qualifier Tamara Korpatsch next.
Ahead of her victory, Linda Noskova won against American qualifier Elvina Kalieva (6-1, 6-2) and Indian lucky loser Ankita Raina (1-6, 7-5, 6-1).
Schmiedlova, ranked No 82, won against Romanian Patricia Maria Tig (6-2, 6-2) and edged out Chinese Xiyu Wang (4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (6)) in the previous rounds of the Prague tournament.
