No 3 seed Caroline Dolehide moved into the last 16 of the Barranquilla Open by defeating qualifier Alana Smith 7-6 (2), 6-3.
Dolehide, ranked No 108, will play the winner of the match between American qualifier Varvara Lepchenko and Hungarian Timea Babos next.
