Bari Open: Sramkova beats Polina Kudermetova to book spot in quarter-finals

Slovak Rebecca Sramkova defeated Russian Polina Kudermetova 7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-3 to reach the quarter-finals of the Bari Open at Circolo Tennis Bari.
Sramkova, ranked No 153, will play the winner of the match between Italian Nuria Brancaccio and Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the second seed, next.
In the previous round of the Puglia Open, the Slovak won against Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 6 seed (6-3, 6-1).
Kudermetova, ranked No 172, beat Kazakh qualifier Zhibek Kulambayeva (6-1, 7-5) in the previous round of the Puglia Open.
