Guadalajara Open Akron: Trevisan reaches quarter-finals, knocks out top seed Jabeur
Martina Trevisan beat Ons Jabeur 6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-3 on Thursday night and will play American Caroline Dolehide in the next round

Italian Martina Trevisan reached the quarter-finals of the Guadalajara Open Akron by defeating Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the top seed, 6-7 (4), 7-5, 6-3 on Thursday night.
Trevisan, ranked No 54, will face American Caroline Dolehide next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Italian won against Dutch qualifier Demi Schuurs (6-2, 6-0) and No 15 seed Jasmine Paolini (7-5, 6-2).
Jabeur, ranked No 7, beat American Alycia Parks (6-2, 6-2) in the previous round.
