China Open: Top seed Sabalenka holds off Boulter to reach last 16

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed, held off British qualifier Katie Boulter 7-5, 7-6 (2) to move into the last 16 of the China Open on Tuesday night.
Sabalenka, ranked No 1, will face Italian Jasmine Paolini next.
The Belarusian beat American wildcard Sofia Kenin (6-1, 6-2) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Boulter, ranked No 56, won against Pole qualifier Magdalena Frech (6-4, 3-6, 6-2).
