Eighth seed Ruud upset by Hungarian Marozsan in third round
Fabian Marozsan edged out Casper Ruud 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-4 on Tuesday night. He’ll face the winner of the match between Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 16 seed, and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang in the next round

Hungarian Fabian Marozsan advanced to the last eight of the Shanghai Masters by edging out Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 8 seed, 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-4 at the Qi Zhong Stadium on Tuesday night.
Marozsan, ranked No 91, will face the winner of the match between Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 16 seed, and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang next.
In the previous rounds of the Shanghai tournament, the Hungarian defeated Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech (7-6 (6), 6-2), Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 11 seed (6-3, 7-5) and Serb Dusan Lajovic (6-3, 6-3).
Ruud, ranked No 9, won against Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka (7-5, 6-0) and American Christopher Eubanks, the No 29 seed (6-4, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
