Korea Open: Yuan through to last eight after Juvan retirement
Yue Yuan benefited from the abandonment of Kaja Juvan (6-4, 4-1) on Wednesday and will play the winner of the match between German Eva Lys and No 4 seed Marie Bouzkova in the next round

Chinese Yue Yuan advanced to the quarter-finals of the Korea Open when Slovenian Kaja Juvan retired on Wednesday.
Yuan, ranked No 128, led 6-4, 4-1 when Juvan, ranked No 99, pulled out.
The Chinese will face the winner of the match between German Eva Lys and No 4 seed Marie Bouzkova next.
Yue Yuan won against Dutch qualifier Arianne Hartono (6-1, 6-2) in the previous round of the Seoul tournament.
During the first round of the Seoul tournament, the 22-year-old Slovenian beat No 8 seed Katie Boulter (6-4, 6-4).
