Hong Kong Open: Blinkova books spot in last eight
Anna Blinkova beat Priscilla Hon 6-1, 6-3 on Wednesday and will play the winner of the match between Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 4 seed, and Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo in the next round

Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 5 seed, moved into the last 8 of the Hong Kong Open by defeating Australian Priscilla Hon 6-1, 6-3.
Blinkova, ranked No 37, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Xinyu Wang, the No 4 seed, and Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo next.
Ahead of her victory, the Russian benefited from the abandonment of Kazakh Yulia Putintseva (6-4, 2-6, 5-1).
Hon, ranked No 183, won against wildcard Eudice Wong Chong (7-5, 7-5) in the previous round of the Hong Kong tournament.
