Stockholm Open: Qualifier Kotov stuns Sonego to make quarter-finals
Pavel Kotov beat Lorenzo Sonego 6-4, 7-5 and will play Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 3 seed, in the next round

Russian qualifier Pavel Kotov reached the last eight of the Stockholm Open by defeating Italian Lorenzo Sonego 6-4, 7-5 at the Kungliga Tennishallen.
Kotov, ranked No 109, will face Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 3 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Stockholm tournament, the Russian edged out American Christopher Eubanks, the No 7 seed (6-7 (2), 6-3, 7-6 (5)).
Sonego, ranked No 55, edged out Serb Dusan Lajovic (4-6, 6-3, 6-4) in the first round of the Stockholm tournament.
