American Elizabeth Mandlik, the No 7 seed, won against Peruvian wildcard Lucciana Perez Alarcon 6-1, 6-0 to advance to the second round of the Colina Open at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica on Tuesday evening.
Mandlik, ranked No 125, will face the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Carole Monnet and Brazilian Laura Pigossi next.
