Thailand Open: Zhu books spot in semi-finals
Lin Zhu won against Arina Rodionova 6-3, 6-3 on Friday and will play the winner of the match between Chinese Yafan Wang and American Katie Volynets in the next round

Chinese Lin Zhu, the second seed, reached the last four of the Thailand Open by winning against Australian Arina Rodionova 6-3, 6-3 at the True Arena Hua Hin on Friday.
Zhu, ranked No 45, will face the winner of the match between Chinese Yafan Wang and American Katie Volynets next.
In the previous rounds of the Hua Hin tournament, the Chinese defeated Australian qualifier Taylah Preston (6-4, 7-5) and Linda Fruhvirtova (6-2, 6-2).
Rodionova, ranked No 101, beat Chinese Yue Yuan, the No 6 seed (7-6 (6), 4-6, 6-3) and Chinese Zhuoxuan Bai (3-6, 6-1, 6-0) earlier in the tournament.
