Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz won against German Laura Siegemund 6-4, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Cluj-Napoca Open at the BTarena on Monday.
Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 132, will play the winner of the match between Swiss qualifier Simona Waltert and Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 3 seed, next.
