Delray Beach Open: Tiafoe survives Albot challenge
Frances Tiafoe beat Radu Albot 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) on Friday night and will play Italian lucky loser Flavio Cobolli in the next round

American Frances Tiafoe, the second seed, won against qualifier Radu Albot 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) to advance to the last eight of the Delray Beach Open at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center on Friday night.
Tiafoe, ranked No 15, will face Italian lucky loser Flavio Cobolli next.
Albot, ranked No 137, beat Chinese Juncheng Shang (4-6, 6-4, 6-2) in the previous round of the Delray Beach tournament.
