Miami Open: Clinical Cirstea upsets Kasatkina to reach last 16
Sorana Cirstea defeated Daria Kasatkina 7-5, 6-2 and will play the winner of the match between Danielle Collins and Elina Avanesyan in the next round

Romanian Sorana Cirstea, the No 19 seed, won against Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 10 seed, 7-5, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Cirstea, ranked No 24, will play the winner of the match between American Danielle Collins and Russian Elina Avanesyan next.
In the previous round of the Miami tournament, the 33-year-old Romanian defeated American Sloane Stephens (6-2, 6-1).
Kasatkina, ranked No 11, benefited from the abandonment of American qualifier Claire Liu (6-0, 1-0) in the second round of the Miami tournament.
