Antalya Open: Begu advances to last four

Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu, the No 4 seed, defeated Slovenian Polona Hercog 6-4, 6-4 to move into the last four of the Antalya Open at the Megasaray Tennis Academy on Friday.
Begu, ranked No 126, will play Japanese Moyuka Uchijima next.
In the previous rounds of the Antalya tournament, the 33-year-old Romanian won against Austrian Sinja Kraus (7-6 (10), 6-1) and Croat Tara Wurth (7-5, 6-2).
Hercog, ranked No 213, won against No 6 seed Sara Bejlek (7-6 (5), 6-3) and Hungarian Timea Babos (6-1, 7-6 (5)) earlier in the tournament.
