Madrid Open: Paolini races into third round
Jasmine Paolini won against Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva 6-0, 6-1 on Friday and will play Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 21 seed, in the next round

Italian Jasmine Paolini, the No 12 seed, won against Andorran wildcard Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva 6-0, 6-1 to reach the third round of the Madrid Open at the Caja Magica on Friday.
Paolini, ranked No 13, will play Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 21 seed, next.
Jimenez Kasintseva, ranked No 335, beat Chinese Lin Zhu (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Madrid tournament.
