Madrid Masters: Lehecka books spot in third round
Jiri Lehecka defeated Hamad Medjedovic 7-5, 6-4 on Saturday and will face Brazilian qualifier Thiago Monteiro in the next round

No 30 seed Jiri Lehecka beat Serb qualifier Hamad Medjedovic 7-5, 6-4 to reach the third round of the Madrid Masters at the Caja Magica on Saturday.
Lehecka, ranked No 31, will play Brazilian qualifier Thiago Monteiro next.
In the previous round of the Madrid tournament, Medjedovic, ranked No 130, edged out American qualifier Aleksandar Kovacevic (4-6, 7-5, 6-4).
