Lyon Open: Koepfer ousts top-seeded Hubert in round two
Dominik Koepfer scraped past Ugo Humbert in three sets on Wednesday in Lyon. Next up for Koepfer is No 6 seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry.

Dominik Koepfer reached the quarter-finals of the Lyon Open by edging out Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the top seed, 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 at Parc de la Tête d’or on Wednesday.
Koepfer, ranked No 67, will face sixth-seeded Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry on Thursday.
The German also needed three sets in his opening-round match, as he fought off lucky loser Javier Barranco Cosano (6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4).
