Hall of Fame Open: Eubanks battles past Vukic to reach last four
Christopher Eubanks beat Aleksandar Vukic 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (3) and will play the winner of the match between Alex Bolt and Marcos Giron in the next round

American Christopher Eubanks, the No 4 seed, edged out Australian Aleksandar Vukic, the No 6 seed, 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (3) to reach the semi-finals of the Hall of Fame Open at the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Museum.
Eubanks, ranked No 128, will play the winner of the match between Australian qualifier Alex Bolt and American Marcos Giron, the second seed, next.
In the previous round of the Newport tournament, the American won against wildcard Ethan Quinn (7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-3).
Vukic, ranked No 65, beat Chak Lam Coleman Wong (6-1, 6-2) and American wildcard Eliot Spizzirri (6-2, 7-6 (3)) in the previous rounds of the Newport tournament.
