Cincinnati Masters: Musetti edges Jarry in third set tiebreak to reach second round
The 14th seeded Italian will face American Frances Tiafoe in the next round

Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 14 seed, edged out Chilean Nicolas Jarry 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) to reach the second round of the Cincinnati Masters at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Tuesday.
The win for the Italian levels the head-to-head between the two players at 1-1. Jarry had won their previous encounter in Rio de Janeiro on clay in straight sets.
Musetti, ranked No 18 and the recent Olympic bronze medallist in men’s singles, will play American Frances Tiafoe next. The pair have split their four meetings on the ATP Tour, including one win each on hardcourts (head-to-head is 303 if you include meetings on all levels of the pro tour).
