Liechtensteiner Kathinka von Deichmann moved into the last 16 of the Tiriac Foundation Trophy by beating Frenchwoman Selena Janicijevic, the No 6 seed, 6-1, 6-3 on Monday.
Von Deichmann, ranked No 199, will face the winner of the match between American Maria Mateas and Greek Despina Papamichail next.
