Thailand Open 2: Sramkova knocks out No 4 seed Linette
Rebecca Sramkova won against Magda Linette 7-6 (5), 6-4 on Thursday night and will play Croat Jana Fett in the next round

Slovak Rebecca Sramkova reached the last eight of the Thailand Open 2 by winning against Pole Magda Linette, the No 4 seed, 7-6 (5), 6-4 on Thursday night.
Sramkova, ranked No 102, will play Croat Jana Fett next.
The Slovak edged out Thai qualifier Mananchaya Sawangkaew (6-2, 2-6, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Linette, ranked No 43, defeated Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko (6-2, 7-5).
